The purpose of this study is to explore the career development process and career persistence factors of high-career social workers in the field of welfare for people with disabilities. In order to achieve the goal, in-depth interviews were conducted with 7 social workers over 15 years of experience. And it was analyzed through phenomenological methods.
The career development process of high-career social workers is as follows. ¡®'They had a passion, but they became social workers without knowing social welfare well. After experiencing the first crisis, they found a good institution and worked their best. But through a leading strategy, they overcome burnout and expanded their careers. Through this process, social workers developed careers as administrators of the organization In the career development process of social workers, strategies such as ¡°self-direction¡±, ¡°the desire to achieve¡± and ¡°discovering values ??in relationships¡± emerged as key factors for career persistence.
